Crockford Communications’ offers three levels of editing and proofreading:
Proofreading
Proofreading is a basic review where you’re happy with the content and simply require a fresh set of eyes to check spelling, grammar and general typos.
General editing
General editing is one step up from proofreading, and while the content foundations are there, you’d like input on content, style, sentence structure and language. General editing also includes one proofreading round at no additional charge.
Substantial editing
Substantial editing is the most intensive editing option. We review the document as a whole and make recommendations on the order of information, the relevance and consistency of information, how information is organised, and suggestions on information to include or remove. General editing forms part of this service, and we include one proofreading round at no additional charge.
